FAQ

What's the best size for an Instagram post?

Since the profile grid now shows posts as portrait (3:4), 1080 × 1440 or 1080 × 1350 (4:5) portrait images take the most space in the feed and aren't cropped in the grid. Square (1080 × 1080) still works.

Where should text go in stories and reels?

Keep important text out of roughly 250 pixels at the top and bottom; those areas are covered by the profile name, buttons and caption.

Why does my image look blurry?

Platforms compress uploads. Upload at the recommended size, don't upscale small images, and use PNG for images with text.

Platforms change sizes from time to time; check their own help pages before a big campaign.
