Font Finder: What Font Is This Website Using?

Curious about the typeface on a site you like? Enter its address and the tool reads the site's stylesheets to show which font is used where (body text, headings, buttons, menu), with previews. Free Google Fonts are marked too.

The tool reads the site's HTML and CSS; it can't identify fonts inside images.

What do the results mean?

  • Google Fonts: free and open for commercial use.
  • Site's own file: loaded from the site's server. It may be paid or custom; check the licence before using it.
  • Adobe Fonts: available with an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
  • System font: fonts already installed on computers, like Arial or Helvetica.

FAQ

Can I use the font I found for my brand?

Yes for Google Fonts. For others, check the licence; many corporate fonts are exclusive to that brand.

Why do some previews look different?

Some sites block their font files from being shown elsewhere, so a fallback appears. The name and details are still correct.

Can it identify fonts in images?

No. It reads the site's code and can't recognise text inside logos or images.
