Core Web Vitals
Google's three core user-experience metrics for a page's loading speed, responsiveness and visual stability.
- LCP: how long the largest element takes to appear. Under 2.5 seconds is good.
- INP: how quickly the page responds to a tap or click. Under 200 ms is good.
- CLS: how much elements shift while loading. Under 0.1 is good.
These metrics play a role in Google rankings and directly reflect visitors' experience.
